When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and profile picture to identify your account.
- Videos you upload or link, only for the time needed to generate clips
- Generated clips, thumbnails, and captions tied to your account
- Your saved preferences (clip count, duration, caption settings)
Your data is used only to operate ClipForge — generating clips, showing your saved library, and remembering your preferences. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Source videos are processed and then deleted from our servers; only the generated clips are retained, tied to your account.
ClipForge uses Google for authentication, Cloudflare R2 for storing generated clips, and Anthropic's Claude API to help score and caption clips. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms.
You can delete any clip, or all of your clips, at any time from the Preferences page. Deleting your account or all associated data can be requested via the Contact page.
